Our History
Shu’ was officially branded December of 2017. The brand itself was only meant to serve as a representation of the hairstylist Shu’Carra Cotchery who had been servicing clients under the name Xquisite Hair Designs for years. Shu’ was developed and launched at the very end of Shu’Carra’s Cosmetology Journey at Paul Mitchell; she at that point understood the importance of transitioning from “hairstylist” to “brand”.
Shu and Company was founded shortly after the launch of Shu’s personal branding journey, in 2018. During this phase of her life she realized that her brand was meant to serve as much more than a representation of her labor behind the chair; knowing her brand would expand, she needed an umbrella to tie everything together. Shu & Company LLC made everything official and tied the knot between the 2 sub brands.
Shu & Company later became the name of Shu’s salon. The first Shu & Company was first a 4 person Salon Suite Located in Sandy Springs. Later the opportunity of expansion was presented mid 2020. The Inman Park location was secured in November of 2020 and the official opening date is January 9th of 2021.

Shu Hair is Luxury Cambodian Extensions. They consist of 4 textures Wavy, Natural Curly, Kinky Curly & Organic Curly. There are 3 types of extensions Wefts, Tape Ins & Ktips.
